I am open to any charts you may suggest, I was just leaning towards the Sagittarius Lagna, July 4th 1776 chart because of Sanjayji. He had used this in one of his articles in Jyotish digest. This just gives me a starting point. I also like Sagittarius lagna for USA.
Regarding your consideration about Vimshottari dasa, I want to make some points with the presented chart,
1) Venus is a very big malefic of Sg lagna, it owns 6th and 11th house.
2) Venus is under kind of curse,
a) Venus is aspected/Conjoined by Mars and Saturn
b) Venus kaaraka bhaava 7th is aspected/conjoined by mars and saturn
c) Kaaraka bhaava 7th lord mercury is conjoined rahu, and Mercury is in bhaava kaaraka parivartana with Saturn. i.e 8th kaaraka saturn in 10th and 10th kaaraka mercury in 8th. Rahu is also 3rd in paritvartana with moon.
The above points in my opinion can give a very bad Venus dasa. This whole combination is with 5th lord mars showing the citizens. Venus is maraka for 5th being the 2nd and 7th lord from 5th.

In the beginning of Jupiter antardasa, Jupiter being the lagna lord gave some benifit and victory to self (Lagna). [mid-Late 1963]

The whole was occured duing taurus dasa which is the 6th house for troubles. Taurus being a pristodaya (back) rising sign and Venus the Taurus lord in shirshodaya (head) rising sing, The results of Venus was seen the 1st 1/3rd of Taurus dasa. Taurus is maraka to 5th house of citizens.
But, Due to lack of any concrete birth data of USA, There can always remain doubts.
