Dear Friends,
Nakshatra portion of the panchanga reveals the Vayu tattva or Praana movements on a daily basis. Praana or Vayu tattva is very important to keep our physical and emotional well being. The first symptom of very bad mood, emotion or stress shows up in our breathing rate, heart rate and pulse rate. The Breathing rate, Heart rate and pulse rate in humans are nothing but indications of Praana flow in our body.
The moon goes through all the 27 (or 28) nakshatra's in a period of about 27.5 days. So approximately the moon stays in a nakshatra for about one day. It would be very good idea to start knowing your own birth nakshatra. You should also know the nakshatra of moon on daily basis this you can come to know by using any Panchanga based calender or a any jyotish software.
For very basic Beginners, let me suggest an experment,
Try this following experiment for about two or three cycles of moon. Make a table for Nakshatra and the dates on which they occur, Write percentage of that nakshatra remaining for that date.
Like shown below I have called 01-Ashwini, So you can remember the sequence number for the nakshatra's
After making this table you would note which nakshatra transits are good or bad for you.
For beginners Some hints are
1) Janma Nakshatra transits (i.e nakshatra transit on same nakshatra as your birth chart.
2) If you are able to see your natal chart then note the nakshatra of Saturn,Mars,Sun,Rahu and Ketu in your chart. The transit moon in those nakshatra can give some difficult results.
3) 8th house transit or 17th nakshtra from your birth nakshatra. For example if you are born with moon in Ashwini, then you are Aries/Mesha rashi person. The 8th house will be Scorpio and 17th nakshatra would be Anuradha nakshatra. So try to note the quality of day's on Anuradha nakshatra.
Please feel free to give you feedback on your observations.
Warm Regards,
Sanjay P
