ShadGunaa and Shadripu

|| Om Gurave Namah ||

Dear Jyotishas,
While reading Ramayana today, I came across this shloka in Ayodhya Kaanda Chapter 33.
आनृशंस्यम्‌ अनुक्रोशः श्रुतं शीलं दमः शमः
राघवं शोभयन्ति एते षड्‌ गुणाः पुरुषोत्तमं  २-३३-१२
ānṛśaṁsyam anukrośaḥ śrutaṁ śīlaṁ damaḥ śamaḥ
rāghavaṁ śobhayanti ete ṣaḍ guṇāḥ puruṣottamaṁ  2-33-12

The translation is given below.
The shloka reminded me of six bad habits (Shad ripu) from 6th house.
They are known as Kaama(Lust), Krodha(Violence), Lobha(Greed), Moha(Delusion), Mada(Arrogance), Matsarya(Jealousy).

Lord Rama being an incarnation of the omnipresent soul. Has 6 good habit exactly opposite of these bad habbits.
They are
Anrisham(non violence), Anukrosham(Compassion), Shrutam(Learning), Sheelam(Humility), Dama(Self Control), Shama(Tranquility).

Anrisham(NonViolence) to remove Krodha(Violence),
Anukrosham(Compassion) to remove Matsarya(Jealousy)
Shrutam(Learning) to remove Moha(Delusion)
Sheelam(Humility) to remove Mada(Arrogance).
Dama(Self Control) to remove Kaama (Lust).
Shama(Tranquility/Peace/Satiation) to remove Lobha (Greed).

12. ete = these; shhaT = six; guNaaH = virtues; anR^ishamsyam = harmlessness; anukroshaH = compassion; shrutam = learning; shiilam = good nature; damaH = self-control; shamaH = tranquility; shobhayanti = adorn; raaghavam = Rama; purushhottamam = the best of men.
Harmlessness, compassion, learning, good nature, self-control and tranquillity - these six virtues adorn Rama, the best of men.

Warm Regards
