India Utpanna Dasa

Jaya Jagannatha.

Vimshottari is one of the most important dasa, Sage Parashara calls it "Mukhya Dasa". Though it's a versatile karma phalita dasa, But we may fail many times when you try to time important events in a charts. Primarily this is could be because we have not learnt and used the dasa properly. The Vimshottari dasa has about 100+ application rules, usually passed down by practice. One can study various writtings of Parampara Rishis and authors to learn it. Here I have particularly referenced Pt. Sanjay Rath teachings. Each chart is unique and for real succces Remember about the three "G"s, valid Parampara Guru, Grantha(Shaastra) and Govinda (or Ishtadevata)

One of the rules is about variations in seed sphuta of dasa, Vimshottari can be started from Janma, Sampat, Kshema, Vipat, Aadhana, Lagna, Gulika, Kevala etc. The selection of appropriate seed for dasa is very important, to time to fruictification of karma. We will attempt an example with formation chart of India as many incidents in India is not clearly explainable using the Moon's Janma Nakshatra Vimshottari dasa.

One of many rules is that , Utpanna vimshottari can be used if Moon is in 3rd and 11th from lagna.

In India's jataka have Moon in 3rd Bhaava, So lets me explore Utapanna in this example.

Yoga Kaaraka 9L and 10L is Saturn. Started in sep 2003.
- 9L and 10L is dharma karmaadi pati yoga, for Vrishabha lagna, Makara rashi saturn is weak in giving this yoga as Makara rashi debilitates.Jupiter the kaaraka for 9th, hence the results came slowly at the end of the dasa.
- Ram Mandir opened on August 5, 2022, Saturn is 9L for temples culmination with Temples. In Saturn(9L-10L) - Jupiter antardasa, the Jupiter is kaaraka for 9H.
Mercury dasa started in Sep 2022, Mercury punya 5L with neutal 2L, Overall it's a very benefic dasa.

India's Ketu dasa part II

Dear Friends,
In an earlier post I had shared my views on the Ketu Vimshottari dasa for India. By itself the influence of Ketu will not have been very much had India not been running the dasa of Scorpio with Ketu in it. Graha Dasa and Udu dasha indicates influences on people and mind. Whereas Narayana dasa or Rashi dasa indicates environmenta (or Aditya leve) influences.

Sc: 1982-08-14 - 1989-08-14

This conjunction of the dasa led to serious issues of terrorism in India. Ketu being a Moksha kaaraka it can destroy dogmatic views on spirituality and while taking you in the path of spiritual it can be very painful.

India's independence chart thus shows that every graha is try to exit from the Ketu the tail. (Kaala Amrita yoga)

If you consider that Rahu is the Head and Ketu is the tail, we can assume that grahas are inside the stomach of the Snake (the snake of time). Since Ketu is dominating Spirituality is the strong point of the chart. These types of charts are best suitable of spiritual progress. So if we apply this to India as a whole, we saw even at the worst periods of poverty, crime, terrorism, riots the ancient Rishi's (Ketu being controlled by Rishis) have tried to protects this spiritual land.

Ketu's maturity peroid is at aroungd 45 Years. So till 1992/1993 the influence of Ketu was very strong,

1990 - Muslim separatist groups begin campaign of violence in Kashmir.
1991 - Rajiv Gandhi assassinated by suicide bomber sympathetic to Sri Lanka's Tamil Tigers.
1991 - Economic reform programme begun by Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao.
1992 - Hindu extremists demolish mosque in Ayodhya, triggering widespread Hindu-Muslim violence

Though Ketu matures after 45 the chart still has a strong Ketu influence. Maturity indicates that the nation by then should learn to overcome it's weakness or would have been destroyed.

The dominance of Ketu indicates that spirituality will play a very important role in India.

Dear Jyotishas,
The current affairs in India made me to get interested in Rahul Gandhi's Chart
A few web search gave me the below birth details for Rahul Gandhi.

At the first glance it may seem that Sun and Mars two bad lords on Lagna is bad. Moon in 6th may not be favourable.
Now the Moon is a Full moon so the negative of being in 6th debilitated is reduced.
Actually the 6th lord in Kendra indicates late marriage (6th being house for brahmacharya).
The 6th and 3rd lord in lagna can indicate lot of pitta related trouble.
But let me overlook those and proceed.

5th and 9th lords are very important for Raja Yogas. He has Lagna in Kartari between Lagna Lord Mercury and Venus.
These are two benefics and also being good lords it removes much negatives.
10th Lord in 5th is very good combination for Raja Yoga.
10th house is Kartari between Saturn and Rahu the two lords of 9th house.
10th Lord is aspected by Saturn and Rahu (The two lords of 9th house aquarius).
5th Lord is in 2nd House.

All the above are great combinations from Lagna. But to rule it must be good from Arudha Lagna.

So now for AL,

Single Mercury in 2nd From AL. This can alone make a king.
Sun and Mars ion 3rd from AL. For a kind it's essential that malefic grahas like sun and Mars be in 3 or 6th from AL.

I will let the divisional analysis for latter.

The Current Dasa in Moon Dasa. I think his best rise would be during the Mars dasa.

India's worst Dasa : Ketu

Dear Jyotishas,

Students of Jyotish know very well that India was born in Kala Amrita yoga, A special combination where all grahas fall in the path from Ketu to Rahu. We also know that this combination gives lots soul seeking i.e in mundane terms troubles :)

So we can expect that Ketu dasa to give troubles, Maharishi Parashara says that if Ketu is kendra in Benefic house, exalted and aspected by benefics then Ketu will do good. It's well known that Ketu and Rahu give results of the rashi lord or the conjunction lord. So it's important that Rahu and Ketu are benefic houses. Please note that for this Ketu said to be exalted in Benefic Jupiter's house. Though for longevity purpose Ketu can be said to be exalted in 8th Sign of Scorpio as it cleans all -ve karma and removes the apa mritya or death before time. So in India's case Ketu in scorpio is exalted for longevity purposes so India will not have apa-mrityu but for mundane purpose it's in malefics house and involved in bad yoga (Kaala Amrita yoga).

Mundane Jyotish, RBI to withdraw currencies older that 2005

Dear Jyotishas,

Yesterday the Reserve Bank of India decided to replace all currencies older than 2005, (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-25855204)

Seeing that this is a very big move, I wanted to see if this can be seen in India chart

The Current Vimshottari dasa is of Sun - Rahu antardasa. The Narayana dasa is of Ta-Ta.

As per vimshottari dasa Parashara says (ch 52: Sun-Rahu antardasa section) if Rahu is quadrants/Trines to Lagna in Sun dasa is not good. There is loss of wealth and danger from thieves. Since Rahu is enemy for Sun and Sun is Kaaraka for wealth. This creates loss of wealth. Parashara is particularly mentioning in 1st 2 months after start of antardasa. Please note the chart and dates below.

Also we see the Narayana dasa is helping the Vimshottari, It is Taurus Mahadasa and Antardasa with Rahu in it. It's also interesting to note that the the Taurus was the 1st dasa when India got Independence 1947. The same dasa sequence is repeating, is the country rebooting :). Taurus dasa shows whole focus on Rahu and Lagna.
