Shannavathi - 96 days when Shraddham or atleast Tharpana is to be performed.

The following are the 96 days:

1. Amavasya - 12

2. Masapirappu (Sankramanas) - 12

3. Pournami - 12

4. Kruthayugathi - 1

5. Threthayugathi - 1

6. Dwaparayugathi - 1

7. Kaliyugathi - 1

8. Vaithruthi Yogas - 14

9. Vyatheepatha Yoga -14

10. During Mahalayam Paksham 16 days - Pournami to Pradamai 

11. ⁠Ashtaka. Ashtami of Margazhi , Thai , Masi , Panguni Month 

12. ⁠Anvashtaka - Navami of Margazhi , Thai , Masi , Panguni Month 

13. ⁠Thisroshtaka - Sapthami of Margazhi , Thai , Masi , Panguni Month

Apart from the listed days above, one has to perform the Tharppanam on the Eclipse days and also on the next day to Mathru/Pithru Srardha days.
